But now I just don't know what to write about.. I want to write songs with a social message if you know what I mean.. and love songs.. and songs about dancing and enjoying life..

But I can't...

I hope that as time passes by.. that I get inspired. Yeah, that' it. I don't get inspired to write new lyrics much anymore..

Writing lyrics usually happens on the spur of the moment and is usually fueled by pure emotion. If you aren't feeling it right now, then try writing it later. If you write when you aren't influenced, then chances are it's going to suck. Just wait for the moment, and then let it all out!

as long as it keeps a rhythm and you write what you feel, itll be great

Try carrying a little notebook with you.  That would help.

try reading other poetry/songs....that sometimes inspires me

well just take some life experiences and apply them to your music even if it seems small or you take if for granted you know. and you can get some people that write music with you piano players, guitar players, and other singers if you want but just write down what ever you see just a little out of the ordinary that means something to you if that makes sence but i have a warped way of looking at things but it makes sence to me you know . lol
